These bulbs resemble the early style "Clear look" red bulbs as opposed to the more modern post war "flat" look. I am using them in the 022 switch controller. They make no heat and have a good appearance.

used them in my switch controllers to reduce amp draw. significant reduction, used to have 32 old bulbs on at the same time in the controllers.

used it to replace bulbs in an american flyer orginal switch controller. works perfect on more worries about the bulb melting the plastic around it if I have it on to long.
