LEDs are so cool!

I have an O-gauge Lionel set from childhood. There are 24 each 022 switches and the power consumption was large and the glow from the control panel a distraction. I installed these LEDs replacements (432R&G)in the switch controllers and it alleviated both the power drain and bright glow. They look really nice and are very cool is every way. BTW, I also purchased LED replacements for the 1445W which light the signal cover on the switches. The old incandescent bulbs get too hot with 20V power plugs and the signal covers tend to melt over time. The LEDs generate almost no heat, so they'er great for that, however, they are quite a bit dimmer than incandescent, but I've gotten used to that and have come to like the dimmer lights there, as well.
