Covering bulb is poorly designed

Numerous LED lights had the "cover" come off either when removing from the box OR when installing. They appear to be glued into the base with a very poor quality glue. The lights seem to work, but without a solid bulb to hold on to, they are very difficult to install. I would NOT recommend these until this issue is resolved. Maybe try pushing them out from the base instead of pulling on the glass.

I recently purchased 150 LEDs for resale purposes and am happy to report that nearly half of them have sold already. Sort of supports the idea that these train collectors have an idea as to how to leave more power available for their engines. Accessories don't experience the heat build up from being lit and switch lanterns don't melt. Great product with many applications.
